Do you want to start an Equestrian Team at your High School?

Here's what you need:

•  An adult at school to be the team advisor. Look under advisor resources for the advisor job description.
•  Download and read through our rulebook .
• Check with an administrator and your Athletic Director to see if the school will support an equestrain team
•   You need a signature from your administrator stating that your team can use your school's name.  This may require a presentation to your local School Board. 
• Contact the NHHSET district chair and let them know you are starting a new team ( must be done by the June State Board Meeting to compete in the following season)

Once you get this accomplished then:

• Have a meeting before the end of the school year to assess interest in a team at the school
• Start attending the district monthly meetings

Any new school looking to start a team MUST notify the state board by the June meeting and have all required endorsements by the September meeting to compete in that upcoming season.
